The problem here is no cheater will admit to cheating so it vary hard to tell whos actually telling the truth.

Generally if you get falsely banned, itâs because of these salty low lifes who canât accept someone is better than them and then have their friends mass report you. The problem is, sometimes someone is hacking (and with a good K/D such as yours) it may ban you just because they received multiple reports.
As with many games. Hopefully we can get to a point where society actively frowns upon people who cheat and even shun them. Until then, report systems and anticheats are all we have.
Move on with life and Tbag the salty dudes, report them even.

I doubt that a single claim of cheating would get you banned. If they reported you with video evidence clearly showing some shenanigans or a lot of people reported you in the same game, then maybe theyâd take some action.
But a single âcry babyâ report. is not going to get you banned - unless of course you messaged them something derogatory and thatâs what your being banned for.

I donât recall the exact player but a streamer was banned for a month after numerous false reports. They submitted a ticket and the support team ban decisions are final. After receiving this news they took to social media and larger streamers started talking about it and eventually the support team reversed their âfinalâ decision. You would have better luck reversing the ban if you make a case for yourself on Twitter, but you would probably need your own footage to back it up.
Additionally you could be banned for chat related reasons. If you frequently resort to colorful language in chat a ban will come your way.

Was this in Halo Infinite or some other game? And did they report it to the Game Company or was it done with the System Level reporting (like Xbox has)?
Iâve been reprimanded and week banned on the Bungle forums for some of my posts - especially if I criticized their âWoke Causesâ rhetoric.

Wouldnât be surprised if I got reported for cheating today with how bad my connection was I know it looked like I was scooting around and doing weird things because it looked that way for me.
It happened in Infinite and he tried to repeal it via the support site.

Guys you dont understand how severe this is. Since i dont cheat and yet got falsely banned what is to say this wont happen again in the future? I have no way to prevent it from doing so. I might even get banned for longer. They declined my ban appeal and wont even give me a reason or anything to ease my concerns for the future. Not even mentioning how my account is permanently stained by this to the point i am scared of playing the game.

Your words fall on deaf ears my friend, they have already judged you as guilty. Further stating you must provide evidence of your innocence and not being able to prove your innocence is proof of guilt.

I am not smart for spending this money. I have a full time demanding job. I am doing my mba right now so time is limited. The only reason i gave this money is because ive been playing halo since 2001. Ots what im good at. Its the franchise i care about. And you qre right in what you say it just sucks to investo so much and be treated like this. And as i said even if get unbaned which i wont since they replied to my ban appeal or even if i wait a month to get unbanned whats to say this wont happen again? I didnt cheat so i cant fix this. I have no way of protecting myself from being falsely banned again in the future. I will forever be worried about this . The stain is permanent even though the ban isnt.

I donât think they give out temp bans for cheating. As far as i know that is always an imidiate permaban.
So my guess would be you where banned for either using inapropriate language or for griefing.
I received a one month ban specificaly stating it was because of cheats
While I am all for MS coming down hard on cheatersâŚ
I think you should be given a full explanation of why you have been banned⌠including any âevidenceâ that has been submitted.
And a chance to defend yourself.
