I just played a game of FF, and this guy was afc’ing. I looked at his achievements, and he has all the ones I don’t have (hard ones). Thing is, he is Forerunner rank and DOESN’T have “An Honor Serving” which is to reach the rank of Captain! This is a cheater, plain as day!
Indeed. If you view his profile on xbox.com you can clearly see that his gamerscore was reset due to cheating.
Have you reported him yet? That would probably be the best way.
If he’s modding his rank, Xbox LIVE’s automated banhammer will probably catch him. You can still PM an authority figure (such as “bs angel”, on these forums) about the problem if you wish (make sure to point out that they lack the Achievement).
If he’s AFKing, then Reach’s automated banhammer may or may not catch him. If Reach’s banhammer misses him, however, then he basically gets away with it. (When Reach was developed, the banhammer was expected to catch everyone… Nothing was put in place to catch those who slipped through the cracks, because the cracks weren’t known.)
