I played numerous games of Husky Raid tonight and one of them happened to be Strongholds. We were getting worked by the other team, and I just died and spawned with the God Hammer (Tartarus Gavel). I spawned with someone standing right in front of me and I was by the zone, so I twitch swung the gavel and it happened to be my teammate. There’s no friendly fire in this setting, so I didn’t kill him, but he was hit by another player using the incineration cannon. Directly following the game I received a notification informing me that I’d been reported. Will 343 review the tape to see that I didn’t betray the player, or do they simply take the report and apply some sort of penalty?
I wouldn’t worry about it OP, it sounds like it was a one off. As long as it’s not something you’re doing multiple times per match and aren’t doing it intentionally, you’ll be fine. I think they’re just a bit salty about dying
I’m curious, where can you see a betrayal report filed against you? Not a rhetorical question since the closest thing I know of is enforcement.xbox.com and that gives more of a general idea of your reputation.
