False advertising?

Was it false advertising to not have items like carters or jorges shoulder pads in the pass?

I dont think they ever showed us the contents or stated all reach armor would be in the pass. So just like armors like CQC, CQB, MP, ect… that arent in the pass, they have freedom to do whatever with them.
It sucks, but on a technicality they can do whatever with that armor.

It is messed up considering they are big token armors from Reach, but thats 343 doing 343 things.

They did, there’s a a reason why 20 levels was cut from the Pass

It was always advertised as part of the pass, which it is, and they never advertised exactly how it works. I don’t think it was false advertising, much unlike the things from the Tenrai event.

I disagree, Halo has expectations, it has never had a system like this before.

I’m sure that a company like Microsoft legally has their bases covered, but it certainly isn’t fair and doesn’t give me any love for 343.

Subjectively, sure. Objectively, no.

The banner in the Steam library shows Emiles security shoulder being used with different equipment and armour coatings. Same goes for a lot of the equipment in the game. The bots get to use items that “”""“aren’t”"""" in the game, all while having cross-core customisation enabled.

I’d say yes, this is false advertising and blatantly predatory.

Where do I apply for a battle pass refund?

I would rather void all my progress than give them the luxury of having my measly amount of money if they are going to blatantly use predatory practices like this.

Did they advertise those items as available in the pass and then not included?

Then yes.

However nothing of the sort was specifically advertised, so no false advertisement was made. Pretty simple conclusion.

If you disagree, hire a lawyer and get your answer that way.
