Fallout 4 looks like absolute garbage. The graphics are yoink and the HUD is just plain ugly. I understand thar the open world is huge and the graphics are punished by that but even if the graphics were good the gameplay is boring and repetitive. I have no idea why anyone would over hype this game or even be worried about Halo when this released. Halo is 100x better than that piece of yoink. Any of you feel the same way?
Actually I think it looks great and can’t wait to pick it up, also this is a halo 5 forum. Fallout 4 isn’t halo 5, I’m sure there’s an off topic forum here somewhere.

I’ve had way more fun on Fallout 4 than I have on Halo 5. Halo 5 is trash compared to it. I won’t be coming back until the December update, because I’ll be playing games that are actually fun to play without being a tryhard every match.
Yeah it’s very repetitive gameplay. I used REQ points to buy booster, then I play Warzone, use all my fun cards, go to Arena to gain Points quickly, buy more boosters, play more Warzone.

According to Waypoint I have put 41 hours into Halo 5 since launch, according to steam I have put 80 hours into Fallout 4 so I think it is safe to say I am having fun with it.
It’s certainly on the cards. Have an old friend, long time Halo fan, no next gen yet, quizzing me about Halo. At first I said it was great but slowly feeling guilty about my promises. He’s coming for my customs but what if the gametypes never show… He loves HWs at least…

You really could elaborate more on why you think Fallout 4 sucks. The graphics are fine and “repetitive gameplay” is a pretty vague statement.
I don’t think it sucks. In some ways its worse than New Vegas, and in other ways it’s better. The sandbox is smaller, the factions are dumbed down and it feels a lot more linear, but at the same time the story is pretty interesting and the changes to power armor and difficulty settings are neat. It’s pretty much par for the course as far as the new Fallout games go.
The ending was complete -Yoink- though. “Oh, just -Yoink- right off game” was my exact reaction to that drivel. I’m still salty.

They’re both shooters. Don’t know why everyone keeps claiming Fallout isn’t one. In fact Fallout 4 has gone out of its way to feel even more like a shooter.
I mean you’re right to say that they’re completely different types of games, but being an RPG doesn’t exclude it from being a shooter.

What they really mean is the game play isn’t good enough to keep you satisfied. All games are repetitive. Also hello mods? crickets

Mods tend to wait like 10 hours to do anything for some reason shrugs whatcha gonna do.

There’s shooting, but that doesn’t make it a shooter. With your logic, Tomb Raider, GTA, DOTA, Mass Effect, Fable are all shooters. But no, Fallout is a RPG,
I tried Fallout 4. After a few hours I switched back to Halo and all was right in the world.
