Falling Damage in Multiplayer?

Read here that there is Falling damage is this true?

Don’t believe what someone tells you without evidence, I’m going to contradict myself a bit here but there is no fall damage. Now how do I know this? Well seeing the fact that my friend got the limited edition console early and that we played halo 4, I can tell you to rest assure that there is no fall damage or atleast none in some gametypes.

Yeah i played the game a few weeks back but only got to play 2 games and there was no FD. Then again there were no big fall heights on Haven.

No fall damage… wow. Can’t wait to see all the nubs jetpacking until their heart is content only to fall to the ground and continue running… or people jumping out of a Banshee that’s about to be blown up only to gracefully land on the ground and stroll away lool. I really hope there is fall damage. I’m not gona rage if there isn’t but fall damage would be nice.

As far as I have seen and read, there is fall damage but the heights for stun and damage have been increased. Dropping from top level to bottom level on Construct using H4’s fall damage may kill, definitely damage and stun. Using a man-cannon on Ragnarok won’t send you high enough to get damage. But getting kicked out of a Banshee at full map height just may be enough to kill you upon impact.

There is fall damage, however the height required to take damage and die has been increased.

Only fall damage from high heights.

Jetpack got nurfed, only the noob of the noobs will dare use it.
Jumping out of a banshee didn’t get that annoying in halo 3, plus in halo 4 not many of the maps have banshees in the default map.
No Fall damage was one of the things I loved from halo 3… I am glad it is returning!

you can put fall damage in custom games but there’s none in mp
