With the fall update approaching, 343i claims there will be 4K support and much more content, what are you expecting from the update content/gameplay wise?
For content they say we’re gonna get something we won’t expect (I think) so what I think it’s gonna be is the other grenade launcher variant, possibly a sentinel beam variant, new forge objects, maybe we’ll get a new map or 2, some new weapon skins, and maybe just maybe we’ll get those unfinished brute weapons gamecheat13 made a video on while back.
I honestly didn’t think we were gonna get a new major update because I didn’t think we needed one so if we were to get everything I mentioned I’d be very happy
We should get the Spanker EX version of the grenade launcher, the brute scopes
- Maybe some Brute A.I for warzone
- Surely some new skins, armours and stances
- New Maps definitely, whether Dev made maps, or forger created
- tuning updates for all guns hopefully completed
- if we’re super lucky…I’d imagine forgeable A.I will be the thing they talk about us ‘not expecting’.

Hope there’s not new REQs. Honestly there’s a lot of little things they can fix in the game other than just adding new REQs. For example, the horrible menu design of the commendations that utilizes a horizontal menu.

Armor/helmet wise, I hope they will finally drop a Halo 3 or Halo Reach ODST set. If not, some more versions of Nightfall & Helljumper. An uptdate where helmets are rescaled, so they all have a fairly similar size. Some helmets now are unrealistic big and others unrealistic small.
Other than that some more maps & game modes. King of the hill would be fun.
Also an option where a 4th player can join a match if someone in Arena quits.

Hmmm, that would be weird. Halo 5 still has more than a year to go before Halo 6 drops. It would be wise if they released a few more updates with maps and REQ’s the coming year to keep players come back to Halo 5.
I hope it won’t be a fail update. Really the only thing I want is them to reduce the ridiculous size of the Halo 5’s dlc content.If I ever need more room on my xbox I might end up deleting that content and after that I won’t be too interested in downloading them again even though I really like the multiplayer.

I wouldn’t hype up for new REQ items or maps being added, the likelihood is very low.
All Halo games will be backwards compatible. Yay!

5: 2015
6 will drop in 2018 if they want to follow the trend, but it should probably be delayed to 2019 so that it’s not a broken mess when it launches.

Games don’t always give full support till the next iteration, they tend to give a year or so of support and then focus the entire studio onto the next project. Halo also isn’t an mmo esq game that needs the support till it’s next iteration. So it’s not necessarily weird if you ask me.

Well that kind of sucks, but hey didn’t say anything about playable elites!

I can wait till Halo 6 for playable elites (if they add them, hopefully they do), unless they’ve figured a way out to add them in Halo 5 successfully!
