I’m trying to decide which Halo 5 version to pre-purchase digitally the standard Preorder Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition. The one thing that has my interested in the latter is the Fall of Reach animated series, which will be available via the Halo Channel. We don’t seem to know much about it, though, like how good it’ll be. Will it be like Halo: Nightfall (which was okay, but not good)? Or will it be great? Because right now, the $30 extra that the Digital Deluxe Edition seems pretty steep over the standard Preorder Edition.
Do we know how much it would cost to buy or rent Fall of Reach as a separate purchase after launch (and, if so, when it would be available)? It’s a little frustrating that so little has been announced about it, but it seems like a cool preorder bonus if 1. it’s good, and 2. it doesn’t just show up on Netflix or Redbox or something like that like a month later.
