Fall of Reach DLC (Multiplayer & Campaign)

I’m not sure if the devs read/take suggestions and or feedback through these forums, but I was thinking of ideas for a FoR themed DLC/Event for Infinite that could come WAY down the line. Ofc, since the seasons seem to be following a story, this would work best in DLC form.

Essentially, it would be a combination of PVE gamemodes & a mini campain centered around key events from the Fall of Reach novel since alot of us lore lovers want to play through that era in the Halo timeline. Maybe even throw in the Mark 4 (Halo Wars) armour core in there too! I want to add to this thread as the ideas get fleshed out but I wanted to share the idea for one of the PvE gamemodes I had based on the wilderness training mission.

If anything, this could be a fun project to make once Forge releases!

Gamemode: Hunted
Game Type: Elimination Variant (PvE)
Rounds: 3
Lobby Size: 12 players
Lives: 3 lives per player
Timer: 3:00
Objective: Reach Pelican (randomly spawned on the map and survive in/around it by the time the timer runs out

Description: Off-shoot of elimination/Last Spartan Standing but on a larger map (much bigger than BTB size). All players are on the same team versus Heroic level NPC marines equipped with Commandos scattered throughout the map.

Each player spawns at random places around the map with NO SHIELDs, NO WEAPONs and no pick ups on the map. Players can only use rocks (functions like a power seed) as a weapon. Two rocks thrown at an NPC to kill them.

This encourages teamwork amongst the extremely vulnerable players using the rocks to take out enemy NPCs while trying to survive in and around the Pelican (very small safe zone around it). 3 three minutes rounds that go until the timer runs out or unt everyone in the lobby has lost all 3 lives.

Thoughts?

This makes no sense to me, if you’re fighting marines. If they included convenant bots, sure. Of course, to do that, they would need to make models of covenant enemies.

Its based off the Wilderness training mission so it would be vs Humans to fit the story beat.
