I really hate fall damage and what I hate more is the people that complain when they are shooting down a enemy in a banshee they jump out and don’t die well live with it. If you were in that situation you would have done it too and don’t you won’t because I know you are lying. And it is a video game it does not need to be realistic because I don’t want to die if I have fall damage if you agree with me speak up if you don’t then don’t even bother posting a comment

If they should live with people surviving riduculous falls from a banshee, you can live with fall damage.
Believe it or not, it brings some balance. Jetpack can’t be completely overused, fall damage balances that. It also makes it so people have to think before moving or jumping.
Oh, and this is a public forum. Everyone has a right to post, you can’t exclude people you disagree with your opinions.

I preferred Halo 2 and Halo 3. No fall damage. It made combat smoother and overall gameplay more entertaining.

Fall damage is atrocious. Please take it out.
The punishment for falling a great height is your loss of map control and height advantage. There doesn’t need to be further punishment (and annoyance).

There are infinite possible solutions. A more invasive one would to make the jetpack solely a mobile AA (like it honestly should be) and not allow shooting while one is using it.

That’s fine and dandy, but I believe the issue is with fall damage being in default multiplayer or not, which is not relevant to if it’s an option of not.
No fall damage seems to make the game feel smoother and faster.
Halo 1 - Chief falls off of a large hill and dies. Halo 2 - Chief jumps off of a mountain and survives. Halo 3 - Chief falls out of the sky and lives to tell the tale. Halo 4 - Chief gets new armor, trips and dies.
Adding fall damage just doesn’t work out mathematically as well. 1+1+1/0≠4
Just crouch before you land, at least you’ll have some chance at surviving from some high falls. Damn Halo 2 and 3 babied the hell out of some of you whiners.

Bravo said so in one of his videos, he personally talked with them.
