This is for those, like me, who didn’t know, so please don’t say stuff like “Already been said”.
If you look at around 4:41 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9jDOnLgnY4 The player jumps off a relatively high ledge, hits the ground, and takes some fall damage to his shield. So, how much it is, how it works, ect. remains to be seen, but it is confirmed. I’m thinking its gonna be similar to Reach’s system.
There was actually another video posted the other day where the controller is going through the options and even points out the option for Fall Damage.
It’s good that we reached an obvious compromise. Rather then, you know, trying to force everyone to follow your personal option.

He got hit by a crawler, the maker pointed to the crawler I’ve seen falls bigger than that without any damage, maybe your right and this is an old video.
What if it’s because he was holding the turret? It didn’t look like he got hit, but then again the damage indicator did point to the 10 o’clock direction.
