Which one would you rather have in Halo 4?
The Falcon-Lacks the ability for the pilot to fire missiles and guns, but includes two mounted chainguns for the passengers to fire.
The Hornet-The pilot is able to fire and passengers can be taken, but passengers’ offensive capability is limited to only their guns (though this is useful with a missile launcher, not so much with an energy sword).
Both can be used to tactically insert troops or provide covering fire from the air. They both are fairly effective against Banshees.
Vote and discuss! I personally would rather see the Hornet, but the Falcon is also acceptable.
BOTH
I thought the Falcon looked better, but the Hornet performed better.
why not both? But if i had to choose, id pick the falcon.

Yeah sorry, forgot to add that as an option. If you’d rather have both, just reply with “both”.
I prefer the Falcon as I think it looks more serious than the Hornet but I like them both. Having both in H4 would be amazing.
Neither. Found them both boring to pilot.
Not sure if anybody here plays Battlefield 3, but if you’ve flown a 'copter in that game… come on, those controls would make for a brilliant UNSC aircraft. And before anybody accuses me of copying, that control scheme has been around for quite a while and in several titles, it’s no more a trademark of any one game than walking.
If they gave the Falcon a turret on the front then yes, but otherwise i liked the hornet better. Also i think they should add a first person view while piloting them.
Falcon.
I feel that the hornet is too overpowered.
Falcon, it promoted more teamwork. The Driver had to make sure the gunners had an angle on the enemy and had to pilot them out of danger. The gunner had to mow down not only infantry but other air crafts attacking them.
I’d want both of them, or newer versions of them in Halo 4. They both have their own uses, the Falcon is for transport, while the Hornet is useful for Aerial combat.
The falcon was cooler because there was an inside and it was bigger. The hornet was better in combat though. I’d actually like both (Fully upgraded) and a pelican and maybe some new flying vehicles.
I kinda miss the Hornet but the Falcon is pretty sweet too. Decisions, decisions.

This. The Falcon felt underpowered, IMO.
Hornet, Gunning in the Falcon was just annoying, especially if their were two people gunning and most pilots dont seem to realize that they need to angle the Falcon if they want me to shoot someone. Most pilots will just point the nose of the Falcon straight at whoever they want me to shoot, really annoying. So in my opinion Hornet definatly Hornet.
Both, or at least have them combined! Make a vehicle with a similar falcon design and a hornet’s function. Also, I’d like to see a UNSC jet along with a Banshee falcon/hornet counterpart; it would add more vehicles to the game and would allow for people to create maps with each side being able to have their own class of vehicles with the same functionality as the other side.
Multiplayer-wise, whichever one’s more balanced. Hornets on Valhalla (via Forge) were scary. Only way I could survive those death machines was if I used missile pods or the laser. I spent all my time hiding just like I did when I played Halo PC mp. But the Hornets on Avalanche were nerfed too much imo. Then again, they’re not just a reskin but they are for transport.
Campaign-wise, whichever one has the better AI. Hornet passengers with swords should get out when I land near enemies, not sit there pointing at the enemy. Hornets should dominate Anti-air Wraiths or at least play a long game of cat and mouse with them, not hover in place and let themselves get hit. I had assembled an army of 25 Hornets and I leave them for 2 minutes and when I come back, holy -Yoink-, 95% of them are in the water.
On the bright side, getting Arby (as an enemy) to board the Hornet has a nice surprise: he ends up on top of the cockpit then you can take him anywhere. I had fun getting my army to shoot me down and Arby.
I think this works with any Elite since they lack boarding aggression for everything other than a tank.
The Falcon definitely. Especially if they let you use all the seats.
