I for one would much rather have the hornet as they look so much more futuristic than falcons and overall cooler, also they ACTUALLY HAVE WORKING GUNS!, but if we have to have the falcon at least make them look cooler, not like wooden helicopters.
Why do they still have propellers? Keep the Falcon if you must but at least change its propulsion system. Make it similar to the Hornets propulsion system.

IKR, at least make them hover and not be held up by freaking air, its like 50 years in the future and they still have propellers wtf!

Not sure if you were referring to from now to Halo 4 or from Reach to Halo 4. From now to Halo 4 would be about 545 years in the future, from Reach(2552) to Halo 4(2557) is about 5 years.

first of all, its over 500 years into the future (2557 - 2012 does not equal 50)
Second of all I don’t care how its propelled, I just want my chain gun on the front so I don’t have to solely rely on gunners to save my -Yoink-! (and give the gunners grenade turrets like in reach campaign since the pilot would have the chain gun)
I hated the Hornet. It’s rockets were overpowered and it was a pain to fly. The Falcon is like the Warthog of the sky. All they gotta do is gives objective carriers somewhere to sit down this time.

I loved the hornet! It was a good banshee counterpart! unlike the multiplayer version of the falcon which was nerfed by taking away the forward mounted gun and taking away the option to have grenade turrets on the side for the gunners! Multiplayer falcons forced you to rely on your gunners to survive, and often times when I got a falcon my gunners were either noobs or trolls.

The Falcon has always been described as the “Warthog of the Skies”. It’s not meant to have a pilot controlled weapon (in multi), its balanced against everything else.
Personally I think the Falcon is an amazing design, its good looking, sturdy and practical. Those other Bungie concepts are cool though.
Only thing I can make out from that Infinity shot is that the H4 Falcon has 6 blades on each rotor rather than 3. More pointless changes.

oh yeah lol 500 years then, that proves my point even more.

Multiplayer falcons forced you to rely on your gunners to survive, and often times when I got a falcon my gunners were either noobs or trolls, don’t get me wrong though i loved the falcon, but taking away the forward mounted gun was just a bit too much of relying on teammates for my taste. in the forge it should have the two types of falcons (grenade and minugun gunner seats) ans they should always have the forward mounted guns to be a banshee counterpart, and they should bring the hornet back to counter what ever the new forerunner flier will be (Assuming there is one)
Definitely both.
When I fly a hornet I feel to much like a lone gun (which is ok in the campaign) but falcon requires you to get gunners which makes it super fun if you are playing with friends, we actually call falcon Vietnam since it feels like flying UH-1 with dorsal mounted MGs
