I’m somone with disposable income. I’ve spend an embarrassing amount of money on DOTA 2 cosmetics and battle passes, and even I have no intention of purchasing anything from this game. The prices of literally everything on the store is a joke.
The servers also suck -Yoink!-. Zero chance of me spending any money when I’m likely to quit the game due to extreamly poor latency, tick rate, and packet loss.

I wouldn’t say the Business Model is a failure because it seems to be working for them. They are making good money off of these items in the store that are arguably ‘overpriced’ for what they give. So technically it’s a success for the seller not for the buyer.
Sorry to say this but mainly it just seems like you’re venting here and not really doing a constructive discussion. You’re probably already thinking about quitting. If you use the “I’m going to quit card” like that. You do however have a valid opinion for yourself not spending money on the game if you feel like the game hasn’t given you what you wanted. In your own way.
The game is a joke, without the gameplay and 343 using the Title to sell this product that in my opinion is a wannabe Halo with a shop, infinite player base would be dead.
I was okay having a shop in the game and the battle passes never affected my experience playing Halo, but the entire game is built around the dumb battle pass/shop. The dumbest thing I have ever seen happen to Halo in Halo’s history. Yet somehow players think they got a deal buying the battle pass🤦♂️
343 is going to drag the content out to milk as many players as they can that this game won’t even feel like a complete game, and that is even if we are lucky to even have one because of how they are handling it that it won’t be until a year or so later.

Their cosmetics are selling like hot cakes.
So either the huge numbers buying this stuff are oblivious, to any outrage, and are happy to have expensive cosmetics or some of us are lying about our spending.
There’s plenty of players paying the store prices unfortunately. I haven’t bought anything but the premium battle pass which is a fair price for the fact it’s ftp, but I think the store system will be here to stay thanks to the people spending money on hcs skins, cat ears and pineapples.

The DeSync and TickRate issue scream our netcode team is trash. If its a ranked match, tickrate should be at least 128, there is 0 excuse for it.
Stop being cheap, be willing to pay for a competent netcode team and fast servers, at least for ranked. I know so many people that are done playing until its fixed, I am almost at that point myself.

Same. Spent $1500+ on lol last I checked. Over $1000 on CSGO. Only thing I’ve. Ought on infinite is the premium BP. I only got the premium BP because I thought it was more to it. Once I figured out how limited the customization is, I haven’t had any desire to buy anything in the store.
