fails to update every single time Microsoft store

every single time there is an update to the game it fails to either download or install the update.
Every single time I end up having to uninstall and then reinstall again. and sometimes that fails. this takes literal hours out of my day.

I have spent more time troubleshooting this game than playing it.

any ideas on a fixes?

The game suffers from every stutter console had over the years when locked behind anything Microsoft. Steam version has been smooth since day one and is a breath of fresh air.
