When I start up Halo 4, it says the game has failed to write to my gamer profile, and to make sure my profile isn’t on a usb or a device with low storage. It’s on my hard drive with 2.6 gb left.
On the dashboard, I can log in and everything will be fine, a couple minutes later, the gamerscore will go to 0 and the avatar will be a blank template person and when I try to log back in, it says I can’t connect to xbox live. When I test xbox connection, everything is green and good to go.
I can log onto my profile on the computer just fine, everything is normal.
It only started doing this today, after I played Halo 4. Help?
Go to storage and go to gamer profiles and delete your profile and click “Delete Profile only”, so you don’t lose your game storage, and download your profile. (You can only download Xbox Live Gamertags though)
When I go to delete my profile an error message appears saying “You can not do this action right now” and when ever I go to try and delete it again it comes up with the same message!
I received the failed to write error last night while attempting to unlock the clever girl achievement. I am 100% sure that I am successfully completing this achievement now after this error and it appears to have glitched and wont unlock. Any thoughts? Am I SOL?
