ok so i was playing halo reach online one day and noticed that my service tag wasnt what it usually was so i went to go type it in again and it says that the service tag is not alloud? the service tag was FAIL like really thats not alloud when something like newb is? what is this about?
It used to be…343 don’t like that word? (you’re right BTW I can’t change it either :/)
They also block “EPIC”. I think that Microsoft’s (notoriously-oversensitive) user-created content filter is also applied to service tags in-game.
yea idk i suck at shooting so thats y i wanted it to be FAIL
I had the service tag F41L i think its bull to block them since i have had the same tage not constantly changing since i got reach last september so why now i would like an answer
Give it a week, NEWB will be blocked too.
I remember Blizzard catching a ton of flack for regulating toon names in WoW, but at the end of the day, it’s a smart decision when you want your product represented one way, and NOT the other.
Wow O_o Since this is a 16+ game You think that the 16 year old mind would be able to handle the mass amount of stress that the word “newb” has onit -.-.
Microsoft is basically saying, Yes we know our average audience age is >14.
My service tag has been the same since day one and its way worse than fail… its DIX
Yeah, it wouldn’t let me use “FAHQ”
none of these have any reason whatsoever to be blocked. idontgetit
Maybe…just maybe they want to see how many people actually care about playing the game itself rather than being upset b/c you can’t make a $exual innuendo or a childish clan tag.
Play the game.
Quit whining.
Pick one or both please.
And yet I see the service tag “CMEN” constantly…
