Hate to tell you homie but it might not be too soon.
343 said that it was a conscious decision are to “help alleviate the frustration of bumping into teammates” as if that was a valid excuse to remove that mechanic.

I’ve had this issue - also had issues where I hit an enemy, you hear the sound and they float away taking no damage.
I think it is a mix of phasing and desync.
They’re not gonna fix it my dude. They don’t think it’s broken.
