Am I the only one that rarely plays against other Banished players? I was matched against a Decimus today and my first thoughts were, “well crap, I don’t even know what build I could do or what he might do!”
Yeah almost everyone plays UNSC that’s why i play Atriox because i find it more fun to play against different “race”.
Yeah, I really don’t know what to even expect from the banished, I almost never play them, so I don’t know their hero powers or special units.
Banished are just good in stronghold… Nearly all units sucks

So true, I have fighting an UNSC leader down to a science with my build order, expansion timing, etc. But when I face another Banished player I have no clue what kind of builds or tactics they can throw at me.

See I exclusively play as the Banished so I have my build order down by a science while as UNSC I still try and experiment lol. I like the Banished because I like to be different and it’s fun for me. I like to surprise people since most people have no idea what to expect. I also like Banished leaders. They each have their own unique niche. I feel Spartans are all the same cookie cutter, just a different weapon for each.
Banished bring far more utility than their head-on UNSC counterparts. The meta involves the UNSC right now but once more strategies start coming out I promise you Banished will be top-tier. Engineers, Shrouds, Bulwarks, Displacements, etc. etc. All too good to pass up, in my opinion.

This is one of the main reasons I play Banished instead of UNSC, besides the fact that they look much cooler imo. You have more interesting options when it comes to strategies.
