Facilitate access to HALO 4 maps please !

Hi,

Today the Halo 4 multiplayer maps are only available via the “Big team battle” menu. The problem is that this category proposes tons of Halo 2/Halo 3 maps, and most of the time the matchmaking system never proposes the Halo 4 maps. That’s super frustrating. I especially bought MCC for Halo 4 maps and I can’t play them.

There are some solutions to fix that:

Option 1: addition of filters in the “Big team battle” mode so that we can filter by Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 games to be sure to play the maps we like.

Option 2: create a specific “Halo 4” section in left general MCC menu to give direct access to Halo 4 modes and maps

I still don’t get it why Halo 4 is so “under the carpet” in MCC whereas we’ve great maps such as “Exil”, “Ragnarok”…Etc. I hope you’ll take that into consideration.

Thanks.

Ragnrarock is a terrible map, by far the worst in halo 4, it has next to no cover and turns into DMR -Yoink!- with the mantis sitting around being awkward.

That being said I in general find halo 4 to be very fun, (especially without personal lodouts and POD) and would love for there to be a dedicated playlist/higher chance of it coming up in btb. Too many times have I seen the 3 maps be halo 2, 2 and 1.

if you can play the game without lag, be happy. cause i cant.

There needs to simply be a Halo 4 playlist; now they have dedicated ones for each of the games, sans 4.
Also, Halo 4 maps should be added to the ‘Team Slayer’ playlist. Right now, the only way to play Haven is on SWAT.

I agree, the matchmaking is not well balanced, most of the time it selects halo 1/2/3 maps in the “big team battle” category, simply because there are too few halo 4 maps vs others.

For me it’s clear that it’s a global access issue to MCC maps. The way it’s done today is wrong. The MCC multiplayer menu is at level 1 devided by game modes whereas it should simply be splitted by games. And this approach is not consistent because de can see an Halo 3 category at level 1 in the MCC multiplayer left menu. Why not an Halo 4 One ? I don’t get it really. No coherence at all. That’s why it’s such a mess if you want to have a chance to play the maps you like. They consider that the majority of halo fans love halo 1/2/3 maps which is wrong. Halo 4 fans are totally sacrified in this MCC. So frustrating. I should have kept a 360 to play halo 4 multiplayer because at the moment MCC is totally useless for halo 4 fans. Too much focus and hysteria around halo 1/2/3.

As far as I’m concerned I really don’t care about SWAT. Great that it’s proposed now but IMO the priority should be the access to Halo 4 maps, not the SWAT mode. Really strange strategy, hard to follow really.

Halo 4 seems to be the only game in MCC multiplayer that functions without a ton of consequence from the p2p lag that H1-3 have.

I’d be all for more H4 in MCC multiplayer.

The times I’ve played Vertigo on MCC have been damn fun!

Many people in on other threads in this forum keep saying I would rather see “insert random issue” fixed first. I do not think it is a time consuming ammount of work to reinstall a playlist that was in the collection on Day 1. Playlists like SWAT have popped up since they originally took out playlists for technical reasons. Point being, Halo 4 at 60 fps was a huge reason I purchased this collection and right now I do not feel like I have access to it. Please bring it back soon.
