for the mass ignorance/arrogance below. “It’s not a beta!”

I’ve been playing halo since the beginning and even learned modding and modeling through it.
The current build of Halo Infinite is the worst “Beta” I’ve ever encountered.
Not only are crashes an issue the specifications needed to run the game are insane.

Halo Infinite Minimum System Requirements

  • Operating System : Windows 8.1 & Windows 10 (64-bit or later) - CPU : AMD FX-8350/ Core i5 6600K - GPU / Video Card : GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 570 - RAM : 8 GB - Storage : TBCHalo Infinite Recommended System Requirements

  • Operating System : Windows 10 or later (64-bit) - CPU : Intel Core i7-5820K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - GPU / Video Card : GeForce RTX 3070 / Radeon RX 5800 - RAM : 16 GB - $3000 pc for 60fps?I’m currently running a Ryzen 7 3700x and have seen people with recommended still not make it past 60 fps.
But I can play any other game and get 144+ CoD BF Tarkov

The current build is awful, poor video settings, crashing issues system requirements too high for any real audience other then console children slide cancels, mantle glitches, sprinting is slower then running, snipers extremely delayed. Hit reg ect.

No wonder it’s gonna be free. Smh this is alpha at best.

This is not a beta. This is a technical test to gather data like issues you are experiencing. There is a thread pinned at the top of the forums for PC specific feedback.
If you are experiencing bugs and it sounds like you are, submit a bug ticket. A link was given in your invite. https://insidersupport.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us

It isn’t a beta. it’s a flight. it’s obviously going to have performance issues, it was literally one of the main things they pointed out about the flight beforehand.

The point of this flight (not beta) is to locate these problems and fix them.

Well considering my email calls it a Test Flight Beta, it might just be one. @Warri0r man
It’s not bugs its everyone’s system is under performing what it should on a game like this. RTX titans and 3950x’s not getting past 60 fps on stream.
Video settings that have no effect on anybody’s rig.
How you gonna find bugs if it’s unplayable

you must be special then cause both of my emails exclude any mention of the word “Beta”

In every message I have received its been called a Multiplayer Technical Preview. Including the email and 2 messages I got on here.
Systems under performing are why events like this are held, so they can gather data and make necessary tweaks so that on launch you have better performance.

Nowhere is it called a beta, we all received the same emails as you and not once is ‘beta’ mentioned, it is just a technical test, I think you might be misinformed (or delusional) as to what this 3 day test is about, the point is to find the bugs and stress the system so they can ensure that during a beta build/flight, these issues don’t plague that.

make sure you set a minimum frame rate to 60 or above as well as this could be limiting your frame rate

Forward a report of your specs to the team, It’s a Technical Test this is why they are releasing it. Also make sure you’re updating your drivers they said if you’re using a AMD Graphics card to update to the latest driver for nearly double the the performance boost.

Wonder why steam calls it a beta participation then

It’s not a beta, it’s a flight. Also, be sure to report issues in the stickied thread.

Optimization is part of what they are studying with these flights. It will improve.

All that link does is take someone to their own drive.
If you are so dissatisfied with the flight, leave a report at the top in the PC thread detailing why, then you can go into your Halo Insider preferences and remove yourself from any future flighting.

Mate, what are you on about, at this point I think you’re trolling to insight a reaction, Admin should lock thread, @tree6489, log a ticket in the Submit a request – Halo Insider Support (halowaypoint.com) page

Here I’ve taken out the word Beta so you have nothing else to talk about.

On console I’m sure its gonna be okay.
But after getting my acceptance waiting through 3 dots just to find this it was kind of insulting.
(Hopefully you fix it before you give the game away for free.)
I enjoy the campaigns but it wouldnt be worth it atm.

The entitlement dripping from OP is reaching cringe levels I didn’t think were possible.

They don’t, nice edit on this post though. Steam shows only “Halo Infinite - Insider”

Pretty sure every email I’ve been sent doesn’t mention “Beta” anywhere. The game’s menu implies “beta/technical preview” but that’s it.

Also, it’s a known issue that there’s a framerate problem. I am locked behind 58 FPS and it doesn’t go below nor above that number.

I’m actually seeing a lot of people complain about the technical preview–but I’d like to just politely point out that there are a LOT of players (such as myself) who surprisingly were omitted from the technical preview. I’d almost say that if anyone is truly upset at the opportunity they’ve been given ahead of numerous other players, delete the technical preview and play another game if it’s such an upsetting experience. I’d be hyped to be providing feedback in any form whatsoever if I had been given the opportunity to be a part of the technical preview. I’d be hyped to even sit at a frozen main menu screen for three days with even a glimmer of hope to play the technical preview. Not all Spartans were so lucky this time around to be a part of this.

The game won’t launch like the first technical test.

Sheesh.
