This has to be one of the absolute worst days of my (Halo related) life. I’ve been an extremely loyal, longtime Halo fan since virtually the beginning back when I was in elementary school. I understand there’s a console shortage to begin with, but I attempted several times via Microsoft’s Store, Target, and Walmart to have a chance to pre-order the XSX Limited Edition console bundle. All attempts were met with failure because it kept saying “out of stock” on all 3 vendors.
I am very much beside myself, quite inconsolable. I know some people will say “it’s just a video game” but after spending thousands of dollars of my hard-earned money on this franchise for nearly 2 full decades, I cannot wrap my ahead around such a terrible blunder. This isn’t necessarily 343’s fault, but rather Microsoft. I honestly hope I can still pre-order the console sometime before launch. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. I know that’s a meme but it’s sincerely how I feel. This day blows.
