Me and my friend have good internet connection but it seems every time we do campaign together we lag or get disconnected. We just got Halo MCC and it has been a unpleasant experience so for, was really hopeing to experience the same fun I did when growing up. I know 343 is working around the clock but this game has been out for a while, yet everything seems broken. When playing multiplayer the lag is even worse and affects my KD… please 343 fix these issues fast.

Make sure you and your friend have an open NAT type. Some of my friends have strict NAT types and it turns into quite a chore just to finish a campaign level without lagging out. Also which campaign were you playing? Halo CE, 2, 3, or 4? It isn’t unusual to have lag in Halo CE and 2, but Halo 3 and 4 can support a pretty smooth experience with open NAT types.

Oh. What my friends do when we 4 player co-op too. TURN OFF EVERYTHING THAT USES INTERNET IN YOUR HOUSE. This has been the answer sense Halo 2 co-op and double applies in Halo: MCC. It truly does reduce the lag to nil
