Does anyone know what the red “X” under extras for Halo 3 ODST means on the sunsetting chart? Is it the pre-order Sgt. Johnson code? Thanks.
Very good question… I don’t know the correct answer, but I can speculate. It could be the Sgt. Johnson code, but I feel like that would be included under “Player Customization.” Other games like H4 and Reach don’t have anything under extras and they both have codes.
ODST is unique in that it contains a disc for one specific portion of a different game, that being the multiplayer for Halo 3. Perhaps that is the “extra” referred to in the chart. No other game offers content like that, nor do any other games have anything listed in the “Extras” column.
I believed it was were you could access the Halo: Reach beta.

You’re right that could be it since Halo 3’s matchmaking is going offline and the Mythic disc was an “extra”. Maybe we’ll get some clarification soon. I’m in the same thought process as you though I thought Johnson would be under player customization but I also couldn’t really think of an “extra” ODST had.

Didn’t even think about the Reach beta that could well be it too. It’s not really a huge deal to me I have ODST 100% complete but was just curious to what that could have meant.
It’s interesting that halo 3 service record will still be accessible but not Reach or 4, I wonder what the reason for that is?

If it was ODST to H3 surely it would eb the same with CEA and Reach as there was the Anniversary Map pack. My guess would be 360 avatar awards?
