I used to really dislike this gametype, but that was mostly because the bases where out in the middle of nowhere on gigantic maps.
But on maps like Haven and Adrift, it’s much better now.
My only gripes are:

Boltshot is still an issue on Adrift.

Half the time, teammates cant seem to get their -Yoink- together.
So yeah, my opinion on Extraction has done a complete 180. Cant wait to play with some friends instead of randoms.
I agree. I had a really tight extraction game on Haven that was awesome, with both teams tied at 4. I didn’t like this gametype before, but I have found that I enjoy playing it a lot since it got its own playlist.
I agree, played a close match on haven the other day, it was so tense.
I thought it had potential from playing it in the crimson dlc playlist a while back but when I played it in the crimson dlc playlist it pretty much fit my expectations really well. Great gametype. Smaller well constructed maps work well with it.
I just realized I haven’t actually played it yet. I’ll have to try it out. It does seem like it would be a lot better on smaller maps.
Extraction is a worthy heir to territories. It definitely works best on small maps. Larger ones only really work if you have many vehicles around.
