Extraction mode only with Crimson Pack?

I just want to get this as clear as possible. Is 343 seriously going to force us to purchase map packs to gain more gamemodes?

According to that source, and a few others I have explored, it seems that only purchasers of the Crimson Map Pack will get to play the game mode “extraction” in War Games playlist, or even at all.

Someone please confirm or deny so that I may go appropriately into angry, depressed rant mode. Thanks.

If Doubles was a playlist I would seriously give you my Gamer-tag and maps to play these instead of me. That’s how much I want doubles. I would do anything, ANYTHING.
