Extraction? EXTRACTION??!

Where the -Yoink- is FFA?? Or BTB?? Or Even Action Sack?? Just put your crappy new stuff in Objective and if it’s good people will pick it. I already resent extraction like I resent regicide because you’ve shoved it down my throat. What’s wrong with you? I live in Australia and there’s about 13 people spread across your stupid playlists… Extraction??

kicks trash can over

Extraction should just a gametype under Team Slayer - 100% NO REASON why this should get its own dedicated playlist.

Playlists dedicated to single gametype is one of the best moves 343i made with Halo 4.

Out of curiosity how much population is extraction pulling at the moment?

But yes, they really need to give the community what it wants and not what they think it wants.

It was pulling the same numbers you would expect from Dominion or CTF earlier this morning. I had my doubts but it’s a lot of fun, even if it’s just Territories in a dress. Meltdown FTW.

Wait different Time Zones show different playlist populations for H4?

If you really want to see why Halo 4 is starting to become a failure, all you need to do is look at this.

I don’t mind the addition of new playlists. But I agree that for one, they’re not adding the ones people want yet and settling for ones like Extraction, probably because they have to take more time to incorporate newer gametypes such as BTB with objective, which means adding flags, territories, bombs, etc. and making sure the mechanics all work properly on a larger scale. Remember that they rebuilt the engine from the ground up, and time is required (although IMO they’ve taken up way too much time for anyone to really care at this point and all of this should have been in the game in the first place…).

It is what it is. I’m slowly starting to jump ship myself. I sure hope to God that they take all of this feedback and use it for Halo 5. If not, 343 is in for a rude awakening.

At the time a non-USA user plays, “there’s about 13 people…”

Flips table over

AHHHH

I don’t see extraction as a failure, it’s just they don’t take it to its full potential like they should. Based on Certain Affinity’s videos, extraction could be fun in adding custom script goals, almost like invasion, but again its treated as territories and nothing more special about it:

Then Halo 4 could have 100s of 100s of thousands of people at the same exact time, just all in different time zones?

I waskindapised as well when i found out the new playlist was this trash. People have been begging for rumble Pit, or Multi team since launch, and this is what we get, its starting to feel like they are just trolling now…

No, the population it shows is worldwide. However if region lock was enabled, that would be a different story.

Said no one ever.
