I haven’t been on yet, really havent been since the TU. How is Extraction? I know what Settler is because I’m trying to recreate Blood Gulch from it but how does it play in Infinity Slayer? Heck I might jump on just to see how everything plays out but really I have my own reasons for not playing after Spartan Ops ended, really only thing that interested me.
The new maps, playlists, settings and tweaks/fixes are really polishing the game up and serving a larger variety of Halo play styles e.g. classic vs. infinity.
For me it’s like this:
-
I’m not a huge fan of extraction, I’d rather assault. That said it’s a decent gametype over slayer for me.
-
Settler and some of the other forge/new map packs are great and very much need for that closer game play in smaller maps and better sight lines.
-
The new settings and voting variants are much better than at launch.
Now is the time to get back on and give Halo 4 another run.

I agree, if you haven’t play Halo 4 for a good while it’s only getting better. It was never really that bad for me but it’s most certainly making strides forward.
Settler is ruined because of the DMRs.
Settler is fantastic! Extraction is great! 343 has done well.
