Why 343 would you add an extra click to report quitters etc? I was hoping you’d make it easier but now we have to click a new option Report / Block then pick Report from the 2 options (there is the extra click) and then select the reason and then confirm.
In the online industry that’s called wasted key clicks and is meant to discourage or a move by a novice programmer. Either way, it’s un-necessary.
This is new.
it’s something new everyday
Umm… Are you talking about on Xbox Live? Because that’s Microsoft who set that up, 343 Industries has nothing to do with it…

No, talking the reporting system within Halo 5.

I wasn’t aware that there was a reporting system within Halo 5. Where would one find this?

Pull up the gamercasrd in game or post game, you can report from there.
You have ALWAYS had to go to someone’s gamercard to report them. And that interface is not 343’s design.

Do you mean that even though you could pull up card from within halo 5, that 343 did not design it? I was answering the question regarding doing it from within the game vs on xbl.

The gamercard is not designed by 343i. They simply make the call to the OS on the Xbox One to bring up that information. That entire interface is designed and implemented by Microsoft. It changed because there was recently a system update for the Xbox One. It will look the same on every game that allows you to view another person’s gamercard.

Thank you for clarifying. Peace and fortune.

Apparently I wasn’t the only one that didn’t know. Read the thread. Rather yet, ignore it.
