How are you supposed to get one if people have instant respawn?

You don’t have to respawn instantly, it is optional to press X when you die and it is only in the Infinity gametypes, otherwise it is a five seconds to my knowledge.
Exterminations are still easily possible in the normal gametypes as well!

Well unless you needed to choose loadouts, why would you wait five seconds lol?
So exterminations are not possible in Infinity then, and you can only get them in Objective? That’s lame and promotes more boosting.

It’s highly unlikely you will get them in slayer, not impossible. But like I said, objective playlist will be the best place for that.

So the only way to get an exterm in slayer is if the entire team is dwindling their fingers instead of pressing x to respawn? lol
Having them easier to get in objective totally devalues them. I’d rather kill people who are shooting me back and be proud of myself, not kill people looking at a ball or flag.
Well they could have changed how you get the medal, it could be like get an overkill on all enemy team members in a specified time.

I never said it was impossible, just not as likely.
There will be many people who won’t even know about Instant Respawning for Infinity gametypes.
I met someone who didn’t even know about boosting in vehicles recently.

This is about what is will come down to though to get exterminations.
My guess would be there are playlists you can’t insta-spawn on, and/or exterminations have different rules. Like killing everyone on the opposing team (atleast an overkill) within X amount of time.

A proposed change to the medal, although it is too late now, was to make it gametype specific like how you can only get Oddball kill medals in Oddball and stuff.
Exterminations should have only been in non-Infinity gametypes exclusively.
Instant respawns are only in certain playlists, such as Infinity Slayer. Objective games still have 5-10 second respawns.
