I feel like extermination is a better break out, it’s more challenging because everything is in the heat of the moment but it’s also more forgiving as you can respawn and build repetition through second chances. Also the shield settings and weapon settings are more enjoyable in my opinion. I would like extermination to become an official game type in halo six, if not as a replacement for breakout than as a separate game type.
I hope you know the Breakout now is Breakout 2.0. A bad messed up version of 1.0. Added Shields and shotguns as a LOADOUT weapon!

Yeah I know but the OG breakout is still pretty meh, idk I’m really impressed with extermination
Can you get breakout medals in extermination? I did enjoy extermination a bit more, but do not like the AR starts, too much spray and pray.

I don’t think so? Maybe?? I don’t mind the AR, but I wouldn’t mind having less ammo for it or having it as a pick up

You can get Breakout medals in Extermination. Got a Bifecta earlier today.
I’d be fine if extermination replaced Breakout, even though I did enjoy the old Breakout and somewhat the new one.

Breakout 1.0 and 2.0 both have their downfalls.
That being said, I would love it if extermination was added to either the breakout or team slayer playlist.
I wish they would’ve brought back arena breakout instead, i know its fairly similar but i enjoyed it alot more than extermination and both version of regular breakout

I like them both, but extermination is more fun. It would be even better if it was ranked and there wasn’t that one guy that stomped everyone else
I really enjoy Breakout. I think both playlists can live together. Never understood people always saying a playlist should be removed or replaced by another…

Honestly, I like extermination a lot more and I only played maybe 10 games so far. I’ve never really liked any version of Breakout. It didn’t feel like Halo for me. I like the newer version better, but I’m still not a fan. I like extermination much more!! I also think pistol only starts would flow better. Heck pistol only starts makes every playlist flow better. Just put a few more autos aroundnd the maps at pick up Weapons I’d say.
I like both modes myself.
Definitely prefer extermination to regular breakout.

I’ve seen a bunch of 3v4s in Extermination. Not sure if it’s disconnecting or quitting, but, I swear, every other match ends up with one team down a man.

I thought so. I always like running into people that I see on the forms a lot lol I also feel their opinion carries more weight witht me when they do say something on the forms because I know they actually play the game 
Well, there are a lot more disconnects then there used to be. I for one never got disconnected until the monitors bounty update came out, now I do quite often and I’ve been playing since day 1. I’m sure it’s a combination of both though.
I still see the most quitting when I play ranked but I accept the fact that if I play ranked with no team, which I rarely do now, this could happen, so whatever lol
The two aren’t really related at all other than the fact that Extermination uses Breakout as a base. Personally I prefer Extermination over both of the iterations of Breakout we’ve seen.
