does the extermination medal work? i should have earned it but didnt.
has anyone got it yet?
I believe the Extermination medal only applies to Breakout, and it isn’t related to killing all four enemy players within a certain number of seconds; it just requires you to kill all four members of the enemy team in a single round.

Extermination has only ever applied to breakout 
BTW, I have an extermination medal. It says you must ‘Kill all enemies o the enemy team in Breakout’ and I haven’t played Breakout since January so they couldn’t have changed it

Yeah no. I have 3 from h3 and 1 from reach all good memories.

yeah dude extinction is killing all four players in a round, doesn’t have to be a multi kill. Extermination is killing the enemy team with an overkill.
I could have swore I got it once, but I guess it must not have been fast enough. You have to kill all of them before the first one respawns. You have to have the whole enemy team dead at the same time.
You guys are thinking of the Extinction medal… Overkill/Exterminations have been around in Halo since Halo 3… Kill 4+ players in Slayer/KotH/Oddball (any Arena game-mode) and leave the entire team dead all at the same time.
It should be in the game… don’t know why it wouldn’t be. It was in the Beta 99% sure.
All players on the other team have to be dead all at the same time to get the extermination. If you get the over but someone spawns before it then its cancelled.
In Breakout, there is only the Extinction medal, where you kill the entire enemy team in a single round, but not necessarily by overkill. Some of my friends said that the Extermination medal only works in Slayer, not in any objectives.
