Has anyone gotten this? I have gotten numerous overkill exterminations in 4v4 slayer and even a killpocalypse in swat. yet I have never got the medal. I see it in the medal chest on my stats. It’s just sitting there taunting me…
Theres 2 types of exterminations I believe.
- One is the commendation where you just have to kill all opposing players at least once in a match.
- Two is the medal. They all have to be spawning with at least an overkill. With instant spawn, this can be a real challenge. CTF would be your best bet since you cant instant spawn in that playlist
my friend doesnt have half my stats but has 2 or 3 exterm medals. ive gotten a killtrocity in swat as well and still dont have this. so far as anybody knows its pretty glitched.
They are near impossible to get in swat, and with infinity slayer, you would need to kill all 4 ppl with 1 rocket/incinerator to get one due to instant respawn.
Yeah, you cannot get the medal with game modes with instant respawn. Sorry buddy.

im pretty sure my friend has gotten one in infinity slayer without a power weapon. i dont think the medal works the same as before.

> well the point is that all enemies have to be dead at the same time… so if they chose to watch the killcam or whatever it is possible to get an extermination
true but i think because of instant respawn they would have changed it to be within a certain amount of time and maybe not just when everyone is dead at the same time.

Its on the ol’ fileshare too
On any slayer gametype you have to be extremely lucky as most dont watch kill cams, best bet is objective games such as Oddball or CTF…

You sir, are a liar. I checked, you have nothing in your FS. You haven’t even played MM yet.
OT: There is no Extermination Medal in Halo 4. Like the Perfection it is only a Commendation.
Thanks for all the tips guys. It didn’t even cross my mind about the insta spawn taking effect. Looks like I am going to start being more sneaky with this one.
