But let’s not have this here. This thread is about the best playlist coming back to rotation. kthnxbaiiiiii.
The intensity of trying to survive as last man while your teammates are moments from spawning. It’s so crazy and so much fun

this game was literally just a farm fest more kills!!
Nice, I thought it was kind of a cool idea!
They should really replace breakout with extermination or make it its own permanent placelist it’s such a fun gametype

Extermination is a pretty good/fun game mode. I actually think it is much better received by the community then Breakout even. I know I personally like it a lot more then anything Warzone or Breakout.
See, to me this is what 343I should be doing in all future Halo games. Put in the game modes that are popular and the majority like at launch (we all know what those are, doesn’t matter if you don’t like them or not, we know what they are. BTB, SWAT, Doubles etc) and then once the game is out and established for a little bit, release a new mode of play every so often and see what the community thinks of it. If it’s popular (like how SWAT got back in the day) then 343I can focus on that mode, along with the other popular ones, in the next Halo game.
Otherwise you get disasters like ricochet in Halo 4 (doesn’t matter if you or I like it, it wasn’t received well) or Breakout in Halo 5 which I’d say has also not been received well., Case in point 343I changing things trying to draw more players to the playlist and that hasn’t seemed to of worked at all. Then you have Extermination… which like I said earlier, feel like it was received pretty well at it’s release. I even recall people saying this is what Breakout should have been… But I digress here.

Just make sure you grab a team or at least a friend before jumping in, it helps a ton and multiplies the fun

It’s quite literally one of the few gamemodes/playlists that I will happily solo QQ in, regardless of random teammates. So much fun.
