EXPORTING HALO CLIPS

Hey guys, how do you export clips from halo files to edit on pc?

Tnx!

You are currently unable to do so, unless you have some sort of capture device. If you need a clip recorded I would gladly be willing to help.

The Film Rendering (and all the file share bells and whistles from the last two Halo games) are still in development. 343 should let us know when they will come. We were supposed to hear something in December but I guess they sidetracked by other issues.

I would love to know how the rendering system would work, and if there will be a Bungie Pro equivalent, but we gotta be patient on that note.

Easy Cap is cheapest way to go. $8 on amazon or eBay.

Not the best quality but good enough to record http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqFPS46-18o

I’ve heard that it doesn’t last long. I use Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3.0 Plus. Quality isn’t too bad, but it’s 60 dollars. I suppose their game capture for 90 might be a bit better though.

Mine has lasted over 6 months, still fine. For $8… I feel I got my money’s worth.

343 aren’t supporting video rendering at all. They said that before they took over from Bungie. The rendering thing was Bungie’s own program, and nothing to do with Microsoft or 343. So as it stands now, a capture device is the only way to go.

Nah, they don’t last long at all. I went through 4 withing about 3 months. In the end I just got a Roxio. It gives great quality for a standard definition capture card and has lasted well over a year. Upgrading to a HD PVR or Elgato when I got the money.

I’ll consider myself lucky then. When this EasyCap dies on me, I’ll be switching to whatever Nak3d Eli uses.

HD PVR…

Or some other capture device.

I really hope that they get a Rendering feature for our files like Bungie had. Perhaps some simple editing tools as well. I would Pay extra money for that sort of thing. I already have my first video in mind - A game of Slayer I had we outnumbered the other team 4-2. We made good sport of it and went on Safari; from the passenger seat of the Warthog ,with the Sniper Rifle -I got 7 snapshot kills! I am proud of myself and want to brag with a nice Video ! C’mon 343 make it so, I will pay money for it - Like Bungie Pro.
