I’m just curious to see if anyone has checked if the explosives support upgrade reduces the damage received by grenades while in a vehicle.
Even with wheelman on, vehicles are virtually useless (unless they’re the Mantis) due to EVERYONE in big team using a loadout with a plasma pistol and stickies.
Any info would be appreciated.
I want to know the same thing! I actually dread people being able to spawn with stickies in EVERY game type. I also have wheelman and i cant really tell the difference
Well, for one, in my experience the only useful vehicles in btb are the mantis (because it spawns on valhalla), the ghost (speed and mobility), and the wraith cause it has access to a speed boost.
The warthog is still on the dregs, but you might find a lot less people use plasma pistols on objective based games.
Dominiation… I mean Dominion and CTF are also fairly problematic.
As for wheelman, I know that a warthog dies from two stickies without wheelman and two with it on so it’s pretty irrelevant in that regard.
I guess wheelman might have an effect on say a wraith or scorpion if it’s a strait percentage upgrade because those things have a decent amount of health to begin with, but for all I know it could add health on a case by case basis, so then we’d have to test each of the individual vehicles separately twice over.
IDK… I still do really great with the gauss hog lol. But yea you do get crushed easily in a hog… but it makes it tougher and more fun IMO. I love being the gunner… just sucks when you don’t get a decent driver or one who takes you to the middle of nowhere/a big battle and jumps out to get something and leaves you.

Would you consider a driver that puts everyones life indanger because he drives so fast and is an extreme daredevil in a Warthog a decent driver?
