Hey guys,
long time Halo fan, been playing since Halo 1 LAN party days.
Got into the Infinite flight, and the game is great. Runs smoothly, grapples are so so fun, most of the guns are really unique and awesome. I have run into a couple issues though, that I believe negatively effect the game.

explosion physics are trashed. Grenade jumps, grav hammer boosts, rocket jumps, all physics based mobility techniques, are completely broken. There is some physics effect, but it is so minimal as to be nearly useless. I understand you want people to try the Repulsor, but to do that you should make the repulsor better, not nerf the physics of the entire game. Grenade jumps are integral for high level play, and removing them and other physics quirks takes away a lot of what makes Halo so unique. Currently the repulsor feels like a worse version of the Impact Hammer from Unreal Tournament.

Friendly Fire disabled. This has, especially when combined with the lack of physics, lead to excessive grenade spam where 60% of people just spam their grenades as soon as an engagement starts, because a) they won’t hurt their teammates, so might as well spam as much as possible, b) it won’t bounce their teammates around due to literally no physics interactions between teammates, and c) even if you hit yourself you won’t get bounced around.
There are other minor issues I’ve had, but they are more suited for bug reports. I wonder if any of you have noticed the same things though. Halo has always had oppressive grenade spam, and turning off FF has just made that even worse. Giving people the reward of using grenades(hurting your enemy) without any of the risk(hurting your teammates) essentially lowers both the skill floor and the skill ceiling of the game.
