So we know Halo Infinite will have a massive landscape and open-world-like envirnment but does anyone know if the environment is exclusive only in Campaign? I wouldn’t mind being able to explore as our own custom Spartans if there’s an option outside campaign? Like a secondary storyline after the campaign similar to Spartan-Ops that reuses the same landscape and envirnment.
I have a feeling the co-op option in infinite will allow players 2-4 (everyone that isn’t host) to play as their multiplayer spartan while player 1 plays as master chief.

That would be interesting or might have that the point of playing as multiple chiefs also like how halo ce and 2 did. Kinda wonder that question at times lol

I was saying that to a friend that I hope we get a season 2 of spartan ops in infinite and she like “Spartan ops was fun, I didn’t know you like it, thought it was just me that like it” lol was like nope as I really enjoy it as well.

I quite liked Spartan Ops to be fair, though I think if I had to choose between Spartan Ops or Free Multiplayer Add Ons…multiplayer wins every time.
The time and resources it takes to make stuff is quite expensive sadly.
Maybe with the SlipSpace engine that could change things but sadly I don’t think we’ll see Spartan Ops season 2 anytime soon

Never know, they pull up something up there sleeve though. But for this type I would request spartan ops to return alot, as I know a mixed amount of old n new wants like invasion from reach to return in infinite and like warzone to return. But I think definitely spartan ops need to return and I was disappointed to find out it was only 1 season of spartans ops n no season 2 lol. OR better idea for spartan ops in halo infinite being like exploring the ring as your own spartan.
Really hope we at least have the option to play the open areas as Chief at least.

Alot of people liked Spartan Ops that I know about. It was a great concept. Most critism I noticed from it was about the execution of it and having to hear that annoying, wannabe-badass, pathetic excuse for a Spartan, Sarah Palmer.

I think there’s a good chance of post launch story dlc similar to HW2. Now if it’ll be paid dlc or unpaid remains to be seen.
