It’s been on my game for quite some time now, you are actually the first person who shares this problem, it makes it impossible to hijack in the reclaimer mission for as soon as i get of the ghost i often die in the explosion, this realy needs a fix!!!

Not a bug, I’m pretty sure it’s intentional (if not bad) design.
Fortunately, it only effects the enemy Ghosts that spawn in the Lich area.
The Lich area, which is possibly the buggiest, is also the easiest since you don’t have to fight anything at all, you can simply head on over to where the Lich stops before it reaches that spot and jetpack into it before it’s grav lift is deployed.
List of known (actually there’s more) bugs in that area:
-AA cannon automatically being destroyed when backtracking or when Lich is sunk
-Lich turning invincible. While sinking it seems to be the cause, what actually causes this is proximity. If you distance yourself far away from it’s spawn, it won’t turn invincible
-Lich not being destroyed, Mammoth going towards non-loaded death rivers. I have no idea what causes this but it’s been documented many times
-Mammoth going into position before Lich arrives, causing a Phantom to get stuck against it
Honestly the exploding vehicles seems just to be a cheap way to prevent this from happening:

This stuff is just too much fun… but it’s not the same any more.

Exactly!
Requiem: Ghosts and Hogs deload in the elevator if you’re not driving them
Requiem: Ghost/Hog deloads when you hit the switch unless you get back in immediately
Requiem: Banshee explodes if you try to bring it to the last area (so you have to either leave it at the door in a certain position, have one guy get out of the map with it (Co-op), or move an enemy Banshee to the top of the cliff)
Forerunner: Banshee and Ghost can go through the portal but they do not come with you. Afaik, there’s no way to bring them to the Cryptum
Infinity: Hogs/Ghosts deload before the Mantis controls can be pushed. Afaik, there is no way to prevent it, even if you have one guy go in while someone else hijacks an enemy Spartan
