Hey I was wondering, can anyone explain these two incidents that happened. I’ve been playing Halo for a while and I know stuff like this isn’t normal. Anyone got an explaination, they’re videos from my YouTube channel of Halo 5 mishaps
Looks like the other players connection was glitching.
The first video appears like a major connection issue for the spartan you were trying to kill. That sucks, but surely doesn’t occur often. Plus you should be able to lessen the chances of encountering someone like that if you use the search connection preferences of Focused or Balanced instead of Expanded.
The second video may have everything to do with the fact that certain assassination animations can, at times, get auto-canceled due to particular positioning and proximity to a wall/structure. I’m not sure which animations may or may not be more or less susceptible to this oddity.
That’s odd. I’ve seen pretty bad lag but that takes the cake. If you use supernova assassination and are close to a wall the animation won’t go, instead it will revert to a default assassination. Like stab em’ in back with a knife. I’ve had that happen quite a few times.

I’ve noticed it too.

I guess you can’t swing him around by the ankle with a wall there… lol. It happened to me a few times in row, I thought at first it wasn’t working for some reason. Then I got one in and open area and it worked.
