Explain why the banhammer has hit me?

so have been playing with full party of friends tonight in a party chat. All of the sudden after finishing a game, I get the banhammer message. What in the heck for!? Can someone please explain. My one night I can stay on late to get some games in and this crap happens. Please someone let me know why this happened.

edit** it appears to have only been for about 5 minutes, but I’d still like to know why.

must have either betrayed someone
Committed suicide too much
Left a few games

I think those are the main reasons to get the banhammer
(maybe if you lay off the beer you would know) hehehe

I could understand if one of those reasons were frequently happening but they are not.
