Explain to me why I got the Banhammer tonight

In the game, The Rig, I got kicked from the game because my teammates run into the incineration grenades that I toss at the enemies. Three times, my teammates ran into them and I got the betrayals. How is it my fault that they don’t look where they’re going? Even I see them floating in midair when I’m sprinting and I react quickly by pulling back and hitting the thruster boost.
Then, after I wait to rejoin my fireteam and start a new game (Empire), I get the banhammer AFTER this game ends (we won) without a single betrayal on my part? In what universe does this make sense? I’m banned till 5:01 am, but I have to go to bed anyway. Nursing school takes priority over gaming til the wee hours of the morning.

Randoms being randoms, that’s why. You’ll have to send that player a message asking why he/she run into splinter nades.

As for getting banned after a winning match, the system seems to be one game behind.

I wasn’t able to message anyone because there was no option to back to look at the game stats and select the player(s) to message.

BTW, I’m a Gold 2, not a Silver, anymore. Don’t know why my avatar isn’t updated to reflect that.

You rank here is based on your post count, it’s not related to your Halo 5 record.

edit Checking your Service Record, you have a few DNF matches from the last few days, so that likely was factored into your temporary ban

Haha!!!

But; you can check game history here on waypoint

DNF? That stands for Did Not Finish, as in left the game early? Yeah, I was with a team of people who were running around like chickens without heads getting killed left and right, and not listening when I was telling them to stick together, while the other team was united, well-coordinated, and was making mince-meat out of us. Couldn’t stand it, so I left. One game in particular was teammates doing the lonewolfing and just kept talking about stupid stuff unrelated to the game and was very distracting.
