If some knows what happened and 343 had failed to explain to the fans then plz do so, iam also trying to get my hands on the books and maybe even the graphic novels.
Well when Jake got out of jail, Elwood picked him up and they decided to get the band back together to save the orphanage they grew up in, so they traveled across the country to get the old band back together. It was a great time.
Oh Blue Team, not the Blues Brothers. Well, they didn’t die, Fred/Kelly/Linda survived Reach and escaped Castle Base in Halo: First Strike (or was it Ghosts of Onyx?) and were reunited with Chief after Halo 4 in the Escalation series.

They reunited after Chief first defeated the Didact in 2557 in The Next 72 Hours Halo: Escalation comic arc, issues 8-10 I believe.

The only member who was killed or at least almost dead was Linda. She was put into her almost dead state in Halo: First Strike. Which takes place right before Halo 2 Halo: FS helps explain why in the opening dialogue when the Covenant find earth there are surprised that there isn’t a larger fleet. Linda was put into Cryo sleep for medical teams to help her later on. Kelly was kidnapped by Halsey which is encountered in Halo: Ghost of Onyx if memory is correct. In Halo : GoO the book deals with Spartan 3’s and how they come to be it also has another Spartan 2 Kurt Ambrose. I won’t go into details about him but it is a great read. Halo: Last Light deals with Fred being in charge of an investigation on a Planet that the UNSC has no control over. Being part of his Blue Team as Master Chief is currently MIA due to him being lost in space which leads to Halo 4. In Halo: LL there are Spartan 3’s from Halo: GoO that help make up Blue Team.
Halo Escalation is the comic series that has been in production for some time now. Escalation helps fill in the gaps between games as well give us new characters such as Tanaka who is part of Lockes squad in Halo 5. In one of the stories deals with the aftermath of Halo 4 which has to deal with the Didact. Blue team is reunited again being Fred, Linda, Kelly, Master Chief (John) and their encounter with the Didact. Its a good read if you want to know more about what happened in between the games and books. Halo Escalation is currently on issue 24 which helps bridge the gap to Halo 5 intro mission with Locke. They really need to bring in a new writer. Most people who play Halo aren’t going to bother reading all of this side lore. It’s so easy to develop characters, yet no effort was put in.
