Halo 5 is my first real FPS ever! Its been a year now since i got back playing video games regularly after a 10 years break because of going to college becoming a husband and a father etc etc… Therefor it took me a while to grab my footsteps back I’d say a good one month to fully grasp warzone principles which kinda sounds retarded long! But bear in mind of the place where i was coming from i got bench for a decade went to a N64 straight to a Xbox one i guess that’s why it took me so long but now i think i’m on point at least in my opinion! Unfortunately after more than one year of that game being released its obvious that a huge part of halo 5 Warzone players seem to never understand the principles of such easy game and i just don’t get it that’s why i created that post for players to feel free to express their misunderstanding about warzone gameplay or just to simply seek help.That been said allow me to do the opening by asking my questions about things that are driving me crazy in warzone (n°1) Why are many fireteams think that its ok to stop pushing for the main base when its far from being taken and reallocate the whole fireteam to fight insignificant small bosses that only one spartan is needed to defeat instead of staying focused on taking the main base which when it lost will end up at 99.9% of the time in a total disaster! I just don’t get it!!! because base on my understanding i assume that the main base is the most important base in a warzone match also often notice that losing it early in the game invariably means a recipe for getting badly beat up! You should never! ever! focus on anything else than fighting tooth and nails to get control of that base no matter what??? Please stop getting patty about your death ratio beside its not like you was dying in real life anyway it doesn’t matter all you need to do is to respawn and fightback relentlessly until you either get control of the main base or losing it seriously did i got that completely wrong or what? you tell me if you think i’m wrong! (n°2) Trying to takedown big bosses only with loadout weapons must stop immediately in my opinion you should always see at least two spartan laser on the battlefield every time a big boss spawn that’s basic warzone 1.0 you can’t spend 10mn trying to kill a Mantis you just can’t or you’ll lose period!!! (n°3) Letting enemy vehicles scoring big figures on you cannot be tolerated! i’m sick and tired of being the only one in my fireteam trying to takedown banshees tanks ghosts etc…For god sake a plasma gun is only req 2 and a spartan laser is only req 4 its not real money just use them reqs!!! Here you go that was my top 3 warzone gameplay misunderstanding and advises but feel free to emulate me don’t be ashamed if you’re a beginner one must start somewhere for instance look at me I’ve been playing that game for a year now and i still don’t know how to hijack and kill an enemy in the same breath but they did it to me countless times often enemies just climb right through my passenger door and single elbow me dead and kick out of my warthog still can’t figure it out how??? However if some of you know how to do it feel free to let me know.To finish that post was written by a French person andi absolutely don’t care about my misspellings and other grammatical errors so don’t waste your time telling me if you understood the main idea all i care about is trying to understand and help beginners getting better so everyone will have a better experience also I’ll appreciate it if you mods could leave my stuff open thank you very much.
super quick, take the “R” word out of your post. That’ll get you in trouble on here. I know English isn’t your first language, but it’s a pretty offensive word. A couple things:

- If you’re new to Xbox and Halo 5 is your first FPS since N64, be sure to get the Master Chief Collection and Halo Reach to catch up on all the story and old school Halo. Also, can you believe it’s been 20 years since 007 Goldeneye came out for N64? That makes me feel old.
I quit playing Warzone. I had enough of some of the things you mentioned. People farming to pad their kill/death ratio. We’re not rewarded for our k/d. I don’t care about your k/d and you don’t care about mine, so why is it so important? Winning is important. People taking on bosses with loadout weapons because their hoarding REQs. For what? You’re in Warzone, if you’re not using REQs there, what are you saving them for? It’s just generally unbalanced, chaotic, and not that fun. I mostly play Arena, BTB, Firefight, a bit of customs with friends on occasion. I love CTF, Strongholds is like Territories meets King of the Hill. 4v4 Slayer is the best it’s been since Halo 3 (seriously, Halo 5 is great and all, but you should still check out the old Halo games).

My suggestion to you would be to use spacing. Reading huge walls of text isn’t fun. For your quote, you climb in the passenger seat and then melee the driver. You can get out before they kill you though if you’re fast enough if you’re the driver.

I won’t waste REQ’s on bosses if it’s a losing game where there’s no chance of winning.

Oh yeah, true. Good point. Like I said, it’s been a while since I played Warzone. All the bosses I’ve been fighting have been in Firefight.

First off It will be great if you could private messaging me how to edit messages with paragraphs in it cause the way i usually do it elsewhere won’t work up in here and like i said i have very limited time to do all these things.Also back in the days i used to be a beast at goldeneye 64 and the fact you mentioned it let me know that you’re an OG too lol! And you’re right 20 years just flew by like it was nothing also like i said before i got my xbox one my last gaming experience dates back 10 years ago with the N64 so i kinda skipped the whole Halo series until Halo 5 got me hooked most definitely cause luke cage is in it so here is my money 343 XD then next thing you know i was playing warzone and arena which i stop cause to much commutativity for my taste instead i rather enjoy warzone for its casualness however you’re totally right about something lately its becoming more and more unplayable for solo players that just want to play a lay back game mainly because of these 6 to 12 players fireteams whose only objective is to screw up the game for everybody by farming and practicing other divers cheating practices but hey lately I’ve noticed that 343 is making some adjustments in warzone we’ll see where its going and who knows maybe it’ll make you wanna go back playing it again and finally i’ll finish by saying that i don’t understand why they aren’t more people seeking help for warzone on that post when clearly there are still a bunch of people out there that have absolutely no clue of what to do in a warzone match for proof i just had a match where my team totally left the main base to the enemy team without even fighting just so they use could 12 spartans to kill 2 grunts did i mentioned that we got whipped the hell out!
