expected more out of the OST

its under expectations all of the tracks sound unHALO-ish

EDIT:-
well you do remember That Neil said that he would make it sound like Halo but with a new face ,that’s quite dandy but after I listened to heaven , awakening ,etc… they did not resemble nor represented Halo and they sounded very similar.

BTW:Sorry for the bad English , and don’t put up rude reply’s TIS BUT AN OPINION

It’s sounds very Halo-ish to me. And who are you to judge it if it hasn’t even been released yet?

Have you listened to the entire thing? No? Okay then.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinions. I’m sorry you don’t enjoy what you hear. Maybe hearing the music in the final game will change you mind.

I LIKE IT I LIKE IT A LOT

This soundtrack is aiming for a different direction. So of course its not going to sound entirely traditional, its not supposed to.

But I think it sounds awesome and will fit the game greatly.

It’s definitely no where near what i was expecting. Imo Neil Davidge has not revived the level of amazement, emotion and wonder i’ve had from Halo music and dosnt not live up to what ive listened to before from halo and the remixes do not help one bit. But im basing my judgment on what i’ve heard so far maybe that will change when i hear the rest.

> its under expectations all of the, sound unHALO-ish

Copying the older music would have just been a cop out.

> its under expectations all of the, sound unHALO-ish

And here I was expecting more out of you post, but all I got is how “unHalo-ish” you think the sound track sounds. I’m disappointed.

It’s funny that you say it doesn’t sound like Halo and yet it IS Halo.

It doesn’t sound Halo-ish, it sounds Halo 4-ish

We have only heard 4 out of the 15 songs. That’s like basing an opinion of the Reach soundtrack just off Engaged.

I’s a new sound for a new trilogy. So yes, it sounds very much like Halo.

Well, that’s just like, your opinion, man.

I thought it sounded pretty good.

I’ve enjoyed what I’ve heard and am looking forward to hearing it during gameplay. Hearing it in the proper context should really bring out its epicness.

I’m not really feeling the remixes though, however I also don’t like remixes in general. But those won’t be in the game anyway so I don’t care.

It’s very different, yet I think it will work incredibly well for Halo 4!

I felt the same way. But when I opened my mind(stopped being butthurt), I realized that this was a new type music that still had the Halo feel.

I agree with OP, a lot of the new stuff is good, but just doesn’t sound like Halo. Perhaps playing the game will change my mind. Nothing will ever beat the original style though.

That’s a very nice opinion you’ve got there…

I like it, and will definitely buy it. So, yeah.
