Take this a grain of salt, but Deersky put out an interesting poll on Twitter about including ping in classic Halo games (MCC). While I don’t take this as a confirmation that such a feature would come to legacy titles (albeit one I would welcome very much), it does seem to imply that new features are not completely off the table in regards to accessibility.

I forgot to mention that Halo 2 online coop crash need to be fixed. It has been years that Halo 2 can"t litteraly be finished in online coop for me and so many others.
I just want 3 things:
Barrier removal in forge
increases private file limit
fix as many bugs in the game that cause crashes as possible.
My only expectation is that the items they created The Exchange for in the first place, ie challenge specific skins etc, get put on The Exchange. Instead of FOMO nonsense no one asked for.
Once again, you all intentionally forgot to list singleplayer/splitscreen/LAN offline bots for every mode of every game in the Collection.
People didn’t forget, they openly know that its an unreasonable expectation to have.

Unreasonable and borderline impossible, given all of the very public information regarding how poorly 343 as a studio has been doing since Infinite.
It was already a massive undertaking that likely wasn’t going to happen in the first place, but following the layoffs and corporate restructuring that have thrown confirmed upcoming content into question, bots are basically confirmed to no longer be on the table for MCC.
I’ll believe it when I see the confirmation from the horse’s mouth, not someone making speculations (however informed).
And besides, mod tools.
This whole thread is about Expectation Setting for 2023, which is inherently speculation based on data that can be gleaned from the available information within reason.
What you chastised everyone for was not sharing your sentiment on something you would like to see added in 2023, even though nobody brought it up as it wasn’t a reasonable expectation to set for 2023 with 343’s current state.
Don’t know what this has to do with, but yes; they are working on expanding the tools with Digsite content, though its questionable how much will see possible implementation in base MCC.
Is the MCC at parity?
If 343 were to announce they are developing the feature as you describe there is 0 chance it would release to retail within 2023.
OK, so let them take the time to properly implement them in the MCC.
Remove auto queue. Im sick and tired of AFK players every match ever since they added that terrible ‘feature’
Expect this version of MCC to be the unchanged for the next 4-5 years.
Is this something specific to Xbox? On PC if I AFK on the post game screen for a few seconds I’m kicked back to the lobby.
