I believe the universe can expand greatly on the harvest campaign which lastes for 5 years of continous conflict which left the planet deeply scarred and uninhabitable,it drained the unsc and covenant resources alike,there’s more than enought stories to tell about it not to mention it was the site of first contact and the first battle which led to a human victory and greatly improved morale.
I’d like to read it. Or play it as a game!

Harvest was the beginning of the Human-Covenant War and that is the end of its story. The resources expended on the planet are also rather miniscule when you see what was thrown into a meat grinder over the 27 year long war. Humanity never made fleets that encompassed hundreds of vessels until the war broke out as noted in the comic when Cole was given command of the largest battlegroup in history to retake Harvest and in terms of kill ratio. The Covenant emerged victorious loosing one versus the dozen or so lost by the UNSC. Then as we know thanks to Halo Wars a five year campaign was fought to retake the planet in a battle of tug of war.

Initially everything was going well and then set back after set back. The UNSC realistically didn’t stand a chance so long as the Covenant held superiority in space. Ground engagements were a different story as UNSC weapons and armor proved to be effective as being able to contest the Covenant for five years over what can be considered humanities food bank. What else is there really to learn as a galactic war was being fought and what resources were dedicated to Harvest were moved to more vital planets as the Covenant continued its seemingly endless advance as there was no forseeable way Harvest would remain in UNSC hands.
Just my opinion though.
We already have some details from FoR and Evolutions, the entirety of Contact Harvest, a good chunk of HW1 and Homecoming which all feature the Battle of Harvest. It’s had it’s day in the sun, best to use precious time and resources for other less well-known campaigns.

This. There’s no reason to expand upon Harvest when we have multiple books, comics and games that cover it. If you’re wanting more information about the planet in general, I highly suggest you go to Halopedia and read the article about it there. Halopedia will basically answer any question you have with ACCURATE information (not created by forum users that are mainly speculating) as well as provide you with the sources of said information.
And also I suggest cutting down on the run-on sentence. It is hard to read and makes you look foolish. Proper grammar is your friend, OP.
