Expanding the Games.

A friend and I were talking about how much we love halo and just about how we wanted to play a game where we really felt like high ranking Spartans. During the campaign you can call down air strikes, drive different vehicles, I’m looking at you pelican, and just be a spartan. I want to bring some of that glory to MP. Imagine getting a kill streak long enough that you could call down an air strike or even call in some non shielded 4 shot ODSTs into the map to help you out. All of these would be hard enough to get that when you got smoked by them you would know it took a lot to get there. I’m sick of getting blow up by rockets because some kid was lucky on the draw. Lets make a tiered system to get seriously legit weapons and actions. I could really see this working in dominion where you hold a base for 4+ turns it gets crazy. I’m sure there are other ideas out there. What do you think just for fun?

They have that already. It’s called Call Of Duty and is something we should never have in Halo. We don’t need killstreaks!!!

We have killstreaks. It’s called Ordnance and they are one of the most hated features of Halo 4 in terms of multiple Halo communities.

If anything, we should be reducing what Ordnance can offer rather then increasing it.

No killstreaks.

Totally agree. As others have suggested in previous forum posts, the drops should be refills for your current weapons, like grenades, bullets, charges etc. So basically you would choose what weapon you want to refill (primary, secondary or grenades) and then the Ordnance drop would have reloads for it.

Quite a few times I have run out of ammo and had to melee someone to get reloaded weapons.

The only thing I would question is whether the Ordnance drop should refill special weapons, like sniper rifles, binary rifles, fuel rod cannons or rocket launchers for example.

I support a tiered Ordinance system, with each drop earned moving you up one tier. So first you get loadout weapons, grenades, and AA’s, then maybe lesser power weapons and power-ups, then medium power weapons and power-ups. Then it resets.

You wouldn’t be able to get heavy explosive weapons or snipers.
