If we can’t compromise with 343 on the ranking system as a whole community, and c’mon, you know we won’t. Can we at least have the gain an exp point per game won? At least let us show off our favorite gametypes and such by letting us rank them up separately. I want to hear some opinions on this, it’s one of the biggest things I miss from H3.
I loved this in halo 3 and would love to see it come back in H4
I just like the idea about being able to show that I’m experienced in the playlists that I play the most. They could possibly make a spartan point jackpot for every 100 exp reached or something. Just a thought.

its not just that but also it gives you something to achieve in playlists and goals to shoot for
It adds longevity to the game. That update came late for Halo 3, and it kept people involved for a lot longer, they would play those few extra games to get their playlist exp even. And it gives people that ability to brag, without making it inaccessible to lesser skilled players.
I don’t like the idea of earning EXP or points per playlist b/c it doesn’t necessarily show off the skill of that player in that playlist, just how much they play that playlist.
Having 1-50 in certain playlists (or BPR or even Arena’s ranking system) shows off your skill for that playlist while number of games played shows how much you play it.
How many times did I say the word: playlist? Guess, I’ve just had too much “practice”. lol.

While I agree, I still think it’s a little extra fun. The fact of the matter is, there will be no 1-50, and visible ranks that show you may be better than someone else are in the past. I don’t like it, but I’ve accepted that I can’t change it.
At least give me the sense I’m getting something for winning that the other team is not, and more spartan points just doesn’t cut it.
