So i’ve been playing for about an hour and a half in Spartan ops i have a lot of double exp tokens and i have reached my limit for the day… Umm really thats super lame like why am i gonna play anymore multiplayer if cant even rank up hopefully this gets fixed cuz its really stupid.
Atleast you get to play it, but for some damn reason… you can’t play WITHOUT a GOLD account…
They put a cap on just because halo reach did really =/ They dont want this game to be like cod and people just smash their way to the max rank within a week.

Maby they should have made it harder to rank up instead of putting a cap.

You could always play just to enjoy the game. Or is that too much of a wacky idea?
Why is earning xp and ranking up so damn important? It really doesnt mean anything!! I would rather give a good account of myself in a match than earn xp.
SR-50 isn’t the max, I’m SR-58, you unlock more classes to play after level 50. it does get harder to level up, I need 55k Exp per level atm. So…

i hit the xp cap everday so far since release…
SR24 on tuesday was cap
SR32 on wenesday was cap
SR38 today was cap
still 118 2xp games left
reason why i wont play after cap is because it uses up your 2xp tokens even when you cant earn xp…so dumb!
so for the being…i used the 14 day trial to make another account to mess around on tilli use up all my 2xp tokens

Day 1: SR 24
Day 2: SR 32
Day 3: Still stuck at SR 32 unable to gain xp

You’ve been playing a lot of Spartan Ops? I find it the fastest way to rank up.

Um, maybe because they built the whole online and unlock system around it? What’s the point of all those commendations and encouraging you to rank up to get more armor, if they’re just going to penalize you for doing exactly what they said you should do?
The xp cap is just a complete contradiction of itself. Why would you penalize people for actually playing your game a lot? Like WTF?

What’s even MORE ridiculous, is that, like in reach, you gain MORE XP the higher your level, so it gets EVEN EASIER to hit the cap as you progress! It’s like they don’t want people to play their game or something.
“Hey, guys, here’s this unlock system with tons of armor and things to get, but we’re going to punish you if you actually try to unlock them.”
I play everything, When i’m capped i usually play MM or just go offline, I’ll start to play MM more when They bring out the ranking 1-50 system.

Finally hit my first limit. Sittin at SR-36. I completed a boat load of challenges today on top of what I got in game. Yeah it sucks but luckily I have my wife’s tag I can play on lol 
I have 138 XP games left and I plan on playing on her tag till midnight

I’m just say’in, I’d rather just come offline or hit MM for a few games when i’m capped other wise theirs no point in playing, It’s like being 10th on COD and still playing… What’s the point? I got a 50 in all play lists on halo3, just went to social after that =] Overall? Impressed and let down at the same time for Halo4. So many good things yet so many bad.

I just ran into it too. Why the f*** is their an EXP cap? That is so fricking pointless and stupid… you think 343i would’ve learned from Bungie’s mistakes…
Personally, I won’t play the game until my EXP cap has been lifted. Thing is, I’m still earning Commendations as I play, but I’m not recieving EXP for any of them. It’s hard to have fun simply playing the game when you’re getting screwed out of thouands of credit every match, that’s bad enough.
And I still don’t have the armor set I wanted… I’m still 9 levels away, and now I can’t get their.
This NEEDS TO BE FIXED. There is NO reason for an EXP limit, and no such thing as “ranking up too fast”. Jeez.

you don’t use up any double xp stuff during spec ops. so you sir are a liar about only playing for an hour and a half
